Day 1: Amritsar – Dalhousie
Tour guests will arrive at Amritsar Airport as per their scheduled flight and proceed to Dalhousie – tiny tinsel town spread across five hills near the Dhaulandhar mountain range. Later we have some free time to relax. In the evening we have a short Meet and Greet session.
Day 2: Dalhousie – Khajjiar – Dalhousie
Today we proceed to Khajjiar – also known as Mini Switzerland filled with natural beauty and picturesque landscapes. Those who are with adventure spirit can experience thrilling activities like Paragliding, Zorbing, Horse Ridding etc. at an additional cost. Later we visit Khajjiar Sanctuary famous for Deodar Forest, Grasslands and an easy going hiking trail which leads to untouched forest and a mesmerising view of Pir Panjal ranges. In the evening, we stroll along the Ravi River and enjoy Boating at Chamera Dam.
Day 3: Dalhousie – Dharamshala
Today we proceed to Dharamshala – a hillside city surrounded by cedar forests located on the edge of the Himalayas known as the home of Dalai Lama. Upon arrival we have we visit Saint John's Church – a Victorian era church built in the 18th century. Later we have some free time for relaxing and exploring the surroundings.
Day 4: Dharamshala
Today we explore Dharamshala. We visit Dalai Lama Monastery - Serene Temple complex known for its ornamental facade, vibrant prayer halls & mountain locale, Bhagsu naag Temple - believed to be an ancient temple where Lord Shiva had prevailed himself and Dharamshala Cricket Ground – a picturesque cricket stadium surrounded by snow-capped mountains and lush green hills, located in the city of Dharamshala. Later we have free time for shopping.
Day 5: Dharamshala – Amritsar
Today we proceed to Amritsar. Upon arrival we visit Jallianwala Bagh – a historic garden and memorial of national importance preserved in the memory of those who were killed in the Jallianwala Massacre that happened on 13th April 1919 and Partition Museum – world's first Museum dedicated to the Partition of 1947. We then visit Golden Temple – also known as Harmandir Sahib or Darbar Sahib is the holiest Gurdwara and the most important pilgrimage site of Sikhism, here we also see Akal Takht – throne of immortal and highest seat of authority of Khalsa. Golden temple at night is certainly, a treat for the eyes & soul.
Day 6: Amritsar
Today we visit to Attari Wagah Border – to witness the prestigious lowering of the flag’s ceremony daily military practice that the security forces of India and Pakistan have jointly followed since 1959. Later in the evening we enjoy the Sound & Light Show at Gobindgarh Fort. We then have free time for shopping.
Day 7: Amritsar Farm – Departure
Today morning we visit the Punjab State War Heroes Memorial & Museum, built to showcase the supreme sacrifices made by the Punjabis while serving in the armed forces. Tour Guests will proceed to Amritsar airport as per their schedule flight and start their return journey back home. Tour Concludes.
